Your rules for those who manage your money:
Always insist on a written agreement
Telling your Advisor Manager:
Do not sacrifice my return to excessive fees, commissions, or other hidden costs; don’t take unnecessary risk in my portfolio but if you do, it should never be uncompensated; don’t ever invest above or below my tolerance for risk.
When you hire CHT Group Inc. to manage your wealth, we both sign an Investment Management Agreement and a Investment Policy Statement. The agreement specifies exactly how much we charge for our services while the Investment Policy Statement specifies how we invest in conformity with your risk tolerance.
Our Fee is a percent of money under management. Prior to signing the Investment Management Agreement, the client decides if the fee will will deliver value. If we do not deliver value to the client’s satisfaction, we can be fired. In that unlikely event, the client is out free and clear of any future fee or penalty.
We specifically tailor a client’s investment allocation to the Risk Score determined from an online test. The investment return in your portfolio will be a function of risk assumed. The higher your risk score on a scale of 1 to 100, the larger the return in an up market and the larger the loss in a down market. A lower risk score will not perform as well in the up market but experience a lower loss in a down market.
Complete the basic evaluation of your risk tolerance for a general overview of your personal level. The results will be emailed to you with a copy to us.
Last but not least is the research that goes into determining where and how a client’s money is invested. Sophisticated technology aids us in developing an optimum investment mix considering the risk score and investment horizon. Since excessive fees inherent in some investment products will place an unnecessary drag on investment return, we run a comparative analysis of those fees in our reports to clients.
What do we do with your money?
First we go through a technological process that helps us determine the securities and the optimum mix that best fits each client. We submit a formally presentation to each new client – annually for existing clients – for discussion, revision if necessary, then final approval. Next we generate an Investment Policy Statement along with an Investment Road Map report for the client’s review and approval.
We invest your money in total or allocated between:
-
ETFs’ and index strategies selecting the best fit for each client.
-
Institutional Management with SEI a name that unfamiliar to most investors.
